Synopsis
Ripped from today’s headlines, THE RED DOOR is a vertical psychological thriller about power, addiction, and emotional espionage, where one man’s most private weakness becomes someone else’s most powerful weapon.
When a sexting scandal exposes the compulsions that he has desperately tried to conceal, Congressman Brian Hale suffers a spectacular fall from grace as his carefully constructed life begins to collapse.
Then he discovers Veronica and The Red Door.
Veronica offers Brian something more intoxicating than sex or power: silence. In her presence, the shame, urges, and chaos consuming him disappear. But relief becomes dependence, and dependence becomes a trap.
Brian soon suspects that their encounters were never accidental. His vulnerabilities are being studied, his behavior manipulated, and the scandal that destroyed him may have been engineered to lead him directly to her.
As Brian investigates the hidden forces behind The Red Door, he can no longer tell whether Veronica is controlling him, protecting him, or trapped alongside him.
To reclaim his identity and expose the truth, Brian must confront the one enemy his manipulators understand better than anyone: himself.
